Oh Well.

Two games, one goal, zero wins.

A 1-0 loss (Barton, 41, pen) at a ground we have never lost before - we are creating history still, but of the wrong kind.

Yes, it's only the second game and there have been manpower changes - the team look highly unsettled. Throughout his reign, other than the superduper unbeaten season, Arsene's Arsenal have always recorded at least one loss early in the campaign. So perhaps it's not that much of a surprise, although we have always done well at the blue stadium of Manchester. This very, very young side will take time to gel, but I believe they will come good again as they get more practice in and understand one another better. Certainly we would have won today had football also been about chances and possession, not just goals, but that's the way the beautiful game is and I sure do hope the old guards like Lauren would come back in soon.

We also dearly need Titi to get back to at least 90% shape and we need more width from midfield (hey there, Tomas?). With Bobby Pires gone, Freddie unfit and Reyes out of sorts, the lack of penetration from the flanks is like a gigantic zit on the nose - obvious, unsightly and painful. I know I've been cheering the club on for the way they are playing it oh so cool, but we do need to sort out the Cashley situation quick too.

Also hoping for Arsene to steal a couple of quick transfers in - the Window's closing fast.
